Cobblemon: Research Tasks adds +6000 tasks for you to complete
There are 5-8 tasks per pokemon and including tasks for every single one of the 1025 Pokemon.
This mod has a default set of tasks and rewards for every single pokemon and its fully playable from the get go after installing in both your singleplayer world and server, but Modpack creators and Server owners can configure most aspects of it, including, removing/adding tasks for each pokemon and changing required amounts, changing the rewards for each pokemon and lastly changing the rewards of the 7 Tiers of Total Completion of the Research Book, the Research Book is obtained as soon as you enter the world for the first time, but can also easily be crafted.
There are currently 8 possible tasks
Lets use a pokemon that has all 8 tasks, like Blastoise for example:
- Evolve Wartortle into Blastoise (0/1)
- Defeat Pokémon with Blastoise (0/30)
- Defeat Flygon with Blastoise (0/3)
- Defeat Grass-type Pokémon with Blastoise (0/10)
- Reach 100+ friendship with Blastoise (0/100)
- Level up Blastoise (0/30)
- Fish up Blastoise (0/1)
- Ride Blastoise for 3000 blocks (0/3000)
Some pokemon only have 5 or 6 tasks because they either aren't fishable or don't have a pre-evolution, or aren't ridable.

I plan to keep updating both, some of the future things you can expect in this mod are:
- Quick compatibility with 1.7 once it launches and new tasks associated with riding, etc
- Hopefully more tasks and changes from your feedback
- A new currency and vendor that allow you to buy multiple things, including new items
- A Neoforge port
- UI update
- More......
Your Feedback is very important me, right now the 6000 tasks are made by categorizing all pokemon according to multiple parameters, which means some tasks for certain pokemon could have inflated requirements, so if you want to contribute and make your own custom tasks you can DM me on discord or @ in the Legendary Monuments server and i'd be glad to take a look and potentially replace the current tasks with yours, ideally all 1025 pokemon would have custom tailored tasks and requirements and rewards. You can find the jsons in your config folder after you open the game for the first time with this mod installed.

- Completely overhauled the UI, making it look much better and closer to Pokemon Legends Arceus - Added a in-game task editor, that allows you to delete and add tasks for pokemon in-game in real time and save presets of your tasks and load presets (If you make some cool preset you'd like to share with the community feel free to DM on discord and I'd love to add it as a preset to the mod, for everyone to try out) - Improved fishing task again..... - Fixed pokemon having some repeat tasks and changed all defeat x pokemon tasks or defeat x pokemon type tasks, to ones that more make sense for that pokemon - Added more global reward levels (now 10 levels, 10% each) and redid some of the rewards for the global levels - Fixed the /cobblemonresearchtasks command that had some issues - Changed the 2050 jsons for tasks and rewards to 1 json "master_config.json" with over 70k lines (sorry LOL)
- Fixed rewards and completion percentage not working properly
- Added new command "/cobblemonresearchtasks" that allows you to complete all tasks, or all tasks of a specific mon, reset all rewards, and reset all task completions. /cobblemonresearchtasks @s complete all /cobblemonresearchtasks @s complete pikachu /cobblemonresearchtasks @s reset rewards /cobblemonresearchtasks @s reset tasks - Fixed level up task that only counted levels from candies, and now it counts all level ups including from battle exp - Fixed fishing task (yes again) - Removed defeat pokemon tasks from Abra, Magikarp, Cosmog, Cosmoem, you probably have to delete the jsons for those pokemon in your config folder if you already played a previous version in the same instance - Reduced requirements for the last overall task completion rewards from 100% to 95%
