โ FAQ
<details> <summary>Fabric or Quilt?</summary> They're nearly identical, but since all mods are made for Fabric first, you'll have zero issues with Fabric. Quilt support is discontinued due to low usage and minimal benefits. I strongly recommend Fabric. </details> <details> <summary>Will the Vulcan mod be added to your modpack? </summary> - Definitely never. FPS with it is more than two times lower than on Sodium (be sure to compare FPS in the "Gallery" tab with the most popular modpack on Vulcan, which has the highest FPS among them - "Vulcan Optimized"). This is just funny to look at, considering that Vulcan itself replaces Sodium, and you can't install shaders on it, like, of course, most other mods. </details> <details> <summary>Will the Nvidium mod be added to your modpack?</summary> - Never. I think this mod is extremely useless, because it only works on Nvidia video cards (AMD and Intel are out of luck), and only on the Turing architecture (GTX 16+ or RTX). That is, it only works on powerful video cards. And the weakest of them - 1650 is already quite powerful, and without shaders it will have very high fps. And you want and have the opportunity to play on it with shaders. Playing on RTX video cards without shaders is pointless. The mod itself is only available for Fabric 1.19.4+, for which there are almost no heavy mod builds for playing on GTX 1650 without shaders at low FPS. This is just an overpraised mod. Instead, I would recommend you Distant Horizons </details> <details> <summary>Will you develop your modpack on CurseForge or somewhere else?</summary> Most likely, no. I will definitely never develop my modpack on CurseForge and abandoned it because of the stupid moderation system that does not allow adding mods from other sites, requires a moderator to check every action and imposes a bunch of other useless restrictions. I do not want to spend so much time reworking my modpack for CurseForge, because users end up downloading mods separately. This is stupid. Starting with version 3.0 of my modpack, anyone can download it and copy it to any launcher, even without a Minecraft license </details> <details> <summary>Are there/will there be mods that everyone needs (like iris), but do not affect optimization?</summary> No and never will be. The main feature of my modpack is the absence of mods that do not affect performance. The user can decide for himself whether he needs these mods and download them if necessary. In general, I recommend downloading mods from my modpack and adding them to your assemblies. </details>Versions
# Minor update for the latest Minecraft versions. I am updating **1.21.11, 1.21.10, and 1.21.9**. During this time some mods have already been updated. **EBE** still hasnโt been updated to the newer versions, and I have completely switched to **BBE**. **Async Particles** has been temporarily removed because the author archived the mod and, based on my tests, there is no longer any FPS difference. Iโm still not sure about **ScalableLux**, so it wonโt be included for now. **From very good news:** Mojang plans to move Minecraft from **OpenGL to Vulkan**, which could give us a huge FPS boost. There is already a mod being developed that aims to add **DLSS 4.5** to **Java Minecraft**, and some shaders already support compatibility with this mod.
